About Paebbl

Paebbl is an industrial resilience company turning captured CO₂ into carbon-storing building materials. We accelerate the natural process of CO₂ mineralisation- in which CO₂ reacts with minerals to form stable carbonates from thousands of years -to a matter of hours, producing a carbon-negative powder that can replace conventional, heavily emitting cementitious materials. Having switched on the world’s first continuous CO₂ mineralisation demonstration plant, we are now scaling from startup execution into structured industrial operations. The Role

As Project Engineer, you will join Paebbl's Product Development team at an exciting stage of growth as we accelerate the commercialization of our technology. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product development, customer engagement, and project management, ensuring that technical projects move efficiently from concept through validation and deployment.

You will become a key link between our Product, R&D, Commercial, and Operations teams, helping transform customer requirements into structured development projects while ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with customers, strategic partners, suppliers, and investors to communicate technical information, coordinate product development activities, and deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

This role requires someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex technical programmes while remaining flexible enough to operate in a fast-moving startup environment. Success will come from combining strong engineering fundamentals with excellent communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate product development projects from concept through commercial readiness

• Deploy emerging tech pilot across in construction industry ( concrete primarily Scope 3 building materials (concrete, cement, , plus technology solutions associated with them (remote performance monitoring etc)
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and resource plans.
• Maintain project timeline adherence above 90%.
• Coordinate customer testing programmes and provide technical support.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable product development objectives.
• Collaborate across Product, R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Operations.
• Prepare technical presentations, reports, and customer documentation.
• Implement data-driven project management methodologies.
• Use AI tools to accelerate decision-making and improve engineering efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement across product development workflows.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing technical or engineering projects

•Experience in Climate tech, cement, concrete, or industrial manufacturing.

• Experience in the construction materials supply chain
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, structured, and data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• LCA or sustainability knowledge.
• Data analytics or modelling experience.
• Experience with AI productivity tools.

After 12 months you will be a trusted project leader across Product Development, R&D, Commercial and Operations. You will have implemented structured project management processes that improve delivery speed by at least 20%, maintained project timeline adherence above 90%, introduced effective customer testing management, delivered multiple customer technical presentations, improved customer communication, leveraged AI to accelerate engineering workflows, and become a trusted partner helping Paebbl scale its product development capability.
