Paebbl is a founder-led start up in the emerging field of climate technology and the new “carbon economy”. Our mission is to permanently sequester CO2 and repurpose it into products that the world needs. Inspired by natural CO2 mineralization, our technology accelerates this process by a factor of a million and is now ready for scale-up. The Role

This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who is comfortable being the go-to person for IT and OT support in a fast-moving environment: practical, self-sufficient, and happy to own the day-to-day work that keeps a site running.

Paebbl needs on-site cover for IT/OT support, administration, and networking. Much of this work is hands-on and cannot be done remotely — device admin, networking, and day-to-day support all need someone physically present. This is a fixed-term hire to cover that work directly and keep things running smoothly on-site.

As IT/OT Support Engineer, you will take on the bulk of day-to-day IT support, handle device and software administration, and provide networking and OT/security support where needed. You will be the person people turn to when something is not working, and the one who keeps the site’s systems steady. This is a 4 month contract role, with opportunity for extension.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day IT Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support on-site — the bulk of the role.

• Respond to and resolve support requests directly, keeping people productive.

Device and Software Administration

• Administer devices and software, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.

• Keep systems and equipment in good working order across the site.

• Proactively seek opportunities for improvement and automation

Networking and OT/Security

• Support networking on-site, an area where we currently have less in-house depth.

• Provide OT and OT/security support where needed.

What We’re Looking For

• IT support experience, plus device and software administration — this is the main part of the role and the core requirement.

• Able to work independently and hands-on, on-site.

• Comfortable owning day-to-day support and being the on-site point of contact.

Nice to Have

• Networking experience — a strong plus, as it is an area where we have gaps and less direct experience in-house, so it adds real value.

• OT and OT/security experience — also a strong plus, for the same reason.

• Experience supporting an industrial, manufacturing, or operational site.

The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role
