Position Overview:
We are searching for a practical, experienced rotating equipment maintenance specialist to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with industrial pumps and compressors, including installation, assembly, and troubleshooting. This role is vital for the proper functioning of our critical rotating equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Rotating equipment maintenance: Maintain, repair, and overhaul pumps, mixers, compressors, and other rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Installation and assembly: Carry out installation, assembly, and disassembly of pumps, mixers and compressors, ensuring that equipment is suitable for the intended application.
- Preventive maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for rotating equipment to enhance reliability.
- Spare parts management: Manage spare parts inventory for rotating equipment to support ongoing maintenance and repairs.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment maintenance, preferably in the chemical or oil industries.
- Skills: Proficiency in assembling and disassembling pumps, mixers and compressors, as well as troubleshooting rotating equipment issues.
- Attributes: Strong mechanical ability, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a focus on quality.
- Education: Technical degree or equivalent certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred. For example, MBO-4 werktuigbouwkunde or installatietechniek, or HBO werktuigbouwkunde or operationele techniek, or others.
