Position Overview:

The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for the procurement of raw materials and the management of partnerships related to CO2 capture. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration of these partnerships into our operational workflow, while optimizing the supply chain for efficiency, sustainability, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, procurement, and relationship management, particularly in a technology-driven or chemical engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• CO2 Capture Partnerships:

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with CO2 capture providers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure reliable and cost-effective CO2 sourcing aligned with the overall company strategy.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure the compatibility of CO2 sources with our high-pressure reactor technology.
• Raw Materials and equipment Procurement:

• Lead the procurement strategy for all raw materials needed for CO2 mineralization, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent and sustainable supply of materials.
• Fast-track equipment negotiations and procurement for the engineering team.
• Monitor global market trends and regulations affecting the availability and pricing of key raw materials.
• Supply Chain Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering final products.
• Optimize logistics and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement and manage systems for tracking materials, suppliers, and costs to improve transparency and decision-making.
• Operational Efficiency & Scalability:

• Ensure the supply chain is scalable to meet the company’s growth objectives and can handle increasing volumes of CO2 and raw materials.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to align supply chain operations with production goals and timelines.
• Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance sustainability, reduce waste, and support the company’s environmental mission.
• Team Leadership & Development:

• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team as the company scales.
• Provide mentorship, set performance goals, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations, preferably in a start-up or technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience managing partnerships and contracts, particularly in CO2 capture, chemical processes, or sustainability-focused industries.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management best practices.
• Experience in scaling supply chain operations to support business growth.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with high-pressure reactor processes or chemical engineering is a plus.
• Passion for sustainability and experience in working with environmentally-focused technologies is highly desirable.
